Serving the areas of North Tipperary and Limerick, Nenagh Resource Centre has provided day service supports since 2002. The service provides educational, recreational and social programmes for participants living with mild to profound ID. The staff team, supported by a Community Employment scheme, provide individual supports to its 29 participants under the HSE’s New Directions framework. The participants range in age from 18 to 67, and delivery of service is built upon a person centred approach.
